30th July Jag Newcastle All British Day
Newcastle All British Day 2016
A fine winter’sday greeted British car owners for the 2016 Newcastle All British Day organized by the Jaguar Drivers Club Hunter region and held on the for shore of the mighty Hunter River. Alarge number of classic British car owners brought their cars out for the day. As you would expect a large number of Jaguars were in attendance but a good mix of British cars were on display, parked around the artificial lakes in the park, everything from Old Land Rovers to modern Jaguars, and everything inbetween kept the crowd entertained.
Yellow Duck Motorsport was represented by aTriumph MK I Sedan parked amongst the Triumph Sports Owners Association Display.

The Newcastle All British Day is well worth a look if you are interested in British cars, held in July each year.

7th August TSOA Gosford Motor Display
Gosford Motor Museum 2016
The Triumph Sports Owners Ass organized to visit the museum on Sunday August 7th, on the same day as the Mini Club and the Porsche Club which made for a large crowd admiring the vehicles on show.
Only recently established the Gosford Motor Museum occupies the old Bunning Hardware building in Manns Road Gosford. A large array of cars are on display, laid out in manufacture groups. Ferrari are very well represented as well as Porsche, in fact the amount of exotic super cars on display is Orrinspiring. It is not only the exotics but there are many fine examples of your more work a day cars like Holden, Ford and Chrysler.
This museum is well worth the $15 admission

20th August AHRG Heart of the Hunter Grey MK I
Heart of the Hunter 2016
A field of around 30 historic rally cars assembled at Freemans Waterholes, the traditional start, of the Heart of the Hunter, for a great days rallying. A good mix of cars entered the event, everything from BMW’s to Fiat’s to Alfa’s plus Datsun’s, Mazda’s and a whole lot more.
The rally route took competitors south to the outskirts of Wyong, then through Yarramalong and up Bumble hill and then headed north along the Wollombi road and eventually to the Potters brewery and the finish.
Yellow Duck Motorsport did not compete this year but was represented by Jim Pope officiating at a M Control just off Hue Hue Road north of Wyong.

28th August All British Day Blue MK I
All British Day 2016
With some doggy weather on the lead up the this years All British Day, I did wander if it would be on, but on it was with the usual large number of classic British cars on display. The Mini Club put on a great display as did MG and Lotus, Jaguar were also there in great numbers. The wet weather in the week leading up to the event did make for some headaches for the organizers as some parts of the football fields were wetter than others resulting in some areas being roped of and the cars being more spread out.
Yellow Duck Motorsport was represented by aTriumph MK I Sedan parked amongst the Triumph Sports Owners Association Display.
